Arc-Crest supported Heliophysics research groups are working to advance our understanding of the Sun, heliosphere, and planetary environments as connected systems. In addition to investigating solar processes, researchers are studying the interactions of solar plasma and radiation with the Earth, other planets, and the galaxy. This research seeks to improve our ability to predict the impacts of solar variability on Earth’s climate and ecosystems, as well as on humans and our technological systems.
