Earth Science Applied Sciences Program

Arc-Crest supported research groups working in the Earth Science Applied Sciences Program specialize in a broad range of applied research, from disaster management, to ecological forecasting and the management of water resources. These projects often involve long-term multi-agency collaborations, including with NASA partners, state and federal agencies, international NGOs, and indigenous communities. A common goal of many of these research groups is to help make Earth Science data easier to access, interpret, and use by people working to manage Earth’s resources, and mitigate the risks of our changing climate.
